We are overwhelmed by so much enthusiasm, encouragement and support from all the people who believe in us and our “vision”.

We launched our website in January.
Conny was able to use February in Tanzania to make initial contact with the school at Ilula Lutheran Hospital and convince the principal of our idea.

In March and April, thanks to the first donations, we were also able to buy and build the first teaching materials. A birth atlas, a cervical opening model and a birthing stool.

In May, we were able to hold the first seminars at the Ilula Lutheran Hospital school.
Starting in May and continuing into June, we were busy with the organizational aspects of the application to the government for recognition as an NGO in Tanzania. Ab dann hieß es warten…

In July, both back in Germany, we took part in the "Africa Days" in Düsseldorf with a stand.

August finally allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief. We are officially recognized as an NGO in Tanzania and are now allowed to submit cooperation requests to state hospitals and midwifery schools to offer our seminars there.

We used the months of September and October to plan the topics for further seminars and other cooperation houses in and around Iringa that we would like to get in touch with for the next year.

November, with the start of the pre-Christmas period, gave us the opportunity for Conny to take part in the church Advent market in Angermund with a potato pancake stand and Inga with a waffle stand at the Budenzauber in Rodgau.

In December, a big thank you goes to "Kinderarztpraxis Kluger", which supported us with donations for their 20th anniversary. Another thank you goes to the 6th grade of the Geschwister-Scholl-School in Rodgau, who sold homemade bracelets at their Christmas bazaar and will present us with the proceeds in January.

We would like to thank everyone who thought of us, believed in us and supported us in any way in 2024. None of this would have been possible without your help!

Thank you!!!

The year 2024 has come to an end and we look back on our first year with gratitude.
