Teaching materials are created

In Germany and Tanzania, two wooden teaching materials were created at the same time.

While we were given a model to feel the opening of the cervix in Germany, Timo commissioned a carpenter in Tanzania to make a "birthing stool" for us based on a model. We would like to use this to take up the topic of birthing positions in class and use it to introduce variations to the supine position that is common in Tanzania during childbirth.
